How to Grow Eyelashes Longer

How to Grow Eyelashes Longer
How to Grow Eyelashes Longer Naturally?
Women since centuries have been obsessed with their eyelashes. Why wouldn’t they be? After all, we women are the less privileged of the gender to have longer eyelashes. In case you didn’t know, 95% of men have naturally longer eyelashes.

Now all women from IMBB will rush to their respective other halves, sons, brothers etc to check if it’s true :P Believe it or not, it’s true.  Nowadays, there are different treatments like the eyelash transplant & various products to grow your eyelashes. There is a lot of controversy on the ingredients used in these products plus if it is safe to do so. Our eyes are the most sensitive organ of our body and if anything goes wrong due to such treatments or products, there is going to be a heavy price to pay for.

The growth, length & thickness of eyelashes depend highly on one’s genetics. However, these following ways will help you grow your lashes naturally whether you are blessed with healthy eyelashes or not:

1) Healthy Diet: Just like how hair growth on our scalp is stimulated by a healthy diet, our eyelash growth is too. Have a healthy diet rich in amino acids, proteins, multivitamins and minerals. In fact, your diet can not only affect the length of your eyelashes but also your child’s, which is why it is recommended to have food cooked in olive oil during your pregnancy.

2) Cleaning: Make it a routine to clean your eyelashes with an eye makeup remover whether or not you have applied any eye makeup. Even while removing your mascara, be very gentle with your lashes. Any slightest movement of tugging and pulling can cause breakage of your eyelashes which will weaken it ultimately. After cleaning them, also brush with an eyelash brush to keep it separated to make your lashes look longer and thicker.

3) Natural Oils: Oils like olive, castor & vitamin E oils are said to strengthen the roots making eyelashes grow longer. Olive & Vitamin E oils could be used individually or a mixture of olive, castor and almond oils could be used daily either in the night before sleeping or also during the day. Apply it from the roots to the tips of lashes using an eyelash brush, a clean mascara wand or just with your fingers.

4) Vaseline: Yes, Vaseline does work!! It has worked for me. Initially, I thought because of the extra substance it’s just giving an illusion of longer lashes but after using it religiously for few months, I did notice my lashes look slightly longer. However, some people may experience an allergic reaction using petroleum jelly near the eye area.

Many have had successful experiences trimming their eyelashes from the tips which resulted in growth of longer ones. I’m not sure how effectively this works. Personally, I’m apprehensive of this method as the thought of scissors so close to my eyes just scares me
